Victorian Ball Gown 1860 model “Malva”

Victorian Ball gown on silhouette of 1860 model “Malva”. The dress is made of mauve Taffeta and silver lace.

The bodice of the dress is stiffened with 10 steel bones sewn inside.
The classic pointed shape (both front and back) is finished in the edge and in the seams by a cord covered with gray satin. The upper part is enriched with ruffles in taffeta and lace. The bodice is internally lined with white cotton Drill.

The classic heart shape of the era is created by two additional pads placed inside the bodice at the side of the bust.
There are also two hook and eye fasteners that allow you to secure the bodice to the skirt so that it does not move.

To make moving easier, in case you use the dress for historical dance shows, you can insert an OPTIONAL elastic at the shoulder.

In the Victorian Ball Gown on silhouette of 1860 model “Malva”, the skirt is gathered in pleats around the waist and decorated in the last 50 cm by alternating ruffles of taffeta and lace curled on a piping cord.
