Women’s measurements

Taken horizontally around the fullest area of the hips ,at the widest part of the hips. (around the most prominent part of the butt) Then tie a ribbon around the hips at that point so you have a reference for later measurements.

Measure along the hip from waist to abdomen circ. (Standard measurement approximately 11.5cm) Use the ribbon at the waist as a reference.

The measurement between the most prominent part of each breast (nipple to nipple)

Place a ruler under your arm next to the armpit Measure down from the upper edge of ruler, along the side down to the waist .

Measure down from the start point of shoulder, over the breast, to the waist . Use the tape around the waist as a guide.

Measure down from the waist along the side, perpendicularly, to the floor. Use the tape around the waist as a guide.

Measure from the waist down to Crinoline or petticoat hem along the center back .

Measure down from the waist to the low hip along the side of the body. Use the tapes around the waist and the low hip as guides. (standard measure 21,5 cm/ 8 1/2” down )

Measure in a straight line from one armpit crease to the other along your back . Make sure the tape measure is parallel to the floor.

Measure vertically from the center of the neck(from the center of the dimple at the base of the neck) to the ribbon tied at the waist .

Measure out along the shoulder, from the base of the neck to the end of the collarbone.

Take this measurement horizontally around the body, at the widest part of the shoulders, roughly at the height of the axillary folds.

Please wear the crinoline, then measure from the waist down to Crinoline or petticoat hem, along the center front .

Measure all around along the crinoline or petticoat hem.

Measure horizontally around the slimmest part of the torso. (about 6mm/ 1 cm above the navel) Tie a ribbon around the body at this point as a reference for later measurements.

Measure horizontally around the hips bones. (approximately 11.5 cm below the waist).

Measure from the center front of the neck ( the center of the dimple at the base of the neck) to the nipple.

Measure from the first prominent bone at the base of the neck down to the waist. Use the tape around the waist as a guide.

Measure around the armhole.

Measure around the fullest part of arm (biceps) .

Measure from the waist down to Crinoline or petticoat hem along the side .
