Victorian Ball gown 1860 model “Stefania”

Victorian Ball gown with a silhouette of the year 1860, Model “Stefania”. The dress is made to measure in burgundy Taffeta, 3 types of black lace and finished with black ribbon.

The bodice of the dress is stiffened with 10 steel bones sewn inside.
The Classic pointed shape (both front and back) is finished in the edge and in the seams by a cord covered with black satin bias. The upper part is enriched with ruffles in taffeta doubled with two types of lace, finished with ribbon. The balloon sleeves are covered with a lace “veil” decorated with lace and cord.

The ruffles, in the back, are longer in order to cover the lacing of the bodice (lace and eyelets).
The classic heart shape of the era is created by two additional pads placed inside the bodice at the side of the bust.
There are also two hook and eye fasteners that allow you to secure the bodice to the skirt so that it does not move.

With the Ball gown, 1860 silhouette, Model “Stefania”, in order to make moving easier in case the dress is used for historical dance shows, it is possible to insert an optional elastic band at the shoulder.

The skirt is collected in pleats around the waist and embellished in the last 30 cm by a decoration of crescent moons consisting of three ruffles increasingly in size and decorated with 3 different lace and finished with braided ribbons.
