Victorian Ball Gown 1860 model “Cinzia”

Victorian ball gown made to measure, model “Cinzia”, on a silhouette of 1860. The dress is made of mauve Taffeta and white Chantilly lace finished with cord and with the addition of green ribbon decorations.

The bodice of the gown is stiffened with 9 steel bones sewn into it.
The Classic pointed shape is finished in the edge and in the seams by a cord covered with green satin. The upper part is enriched by a Bertha taffeta with applied curled lace, finished with ribbon, then taken up in the edge of the sleeve balloon.
The Bertha, at the back is divided into two pieces to allow the lacing of the bodice with a lace and eyelets.
The classic heart shape of the era is created by two additional pads placed inside the bodice at the sides of the bust.
In addition, there are two hook and eye clasps that allow you to secure the bodice to the skirt so that it does not move.

In the ‘Ball gown 1860 model “Cinzia”, to make it easier to move in case you use the dress for historical dance shows you can insert an OPTIONAL elastic at the shoulder.

The skirt is collected in pleats around the waist and completed with an invisible handmade hem.
